Casa da Foz - Charming House is an establishment certified by Turismo de Portugal with the Clean & Safe Seal, which guarantees and certifies that we are committed with various procedures of our internal protocol and required by WHO, DGS - Portuguese General Health Directorate  and Tourism of Portugal.

We are acting in the most conscious and responsible way to ensure the health of all our guests and employees. Therefore, we share with you some of the measures we are implementing at Casa da Foz:

•  All of our team is properly trained, informed and updated on which hygiene procedures to follow according to DGS rules;
• The team has access to the internal protocol that Casa da Foz developed in order to be prepared to know how to respond efectively to any occurrence;
• We also guarantee that our entire team is responsible and aware, and that it is properly protected with personal protective equipment during all working hours and outside of it in accordance with the measures of the General Health Directorate.
• At the reception we have disinfectant gel available for guests to use in order to apply the necessary hygiene measures when entering and leaving the House;
• We reinforce all hygiene and disinfection procedures in the home and in particular frequent contact such as door handles and plugs.
• Reinforcement of good hygiene practices with the utensils, equipments and surface (kitchen / kitchenette);
•  Specific procedures for changing and washing bed linen;
• Specific procedures for cleaning rooms, rooms and passageways;
• Specific area with all the essential requirements for comfort in case of mandatory confinement of a suspected or infected guest;
• Set of operational guidelines to be considered in the cases provided for in the previous paragraph;
• Personal protective equipment for all guests and employees, disinfectant dispensers and liquid soap dispensers. 

•  We will also ask the guests to use a protective mask when checking in, and informo about the  mandatory of the use in Portugal in all the public interior spaces.
• The use of disinfectant gel is recommended several times a day and whenever justified. In the Check in is mandatory.
• Masks will be available to an equal number of guests in case someone does not bring in the checking in.
• We recommend that guests protect their suitcase with plastic before traveling, which  be picked up on arrival. We guarantee, in all cases, disinfection products.

The Portuguese are people of affection, but at this stage we have to respect everyone's safety. So we avoid physical contact. For the safety of all, always keep the social security distance.

We are aware that together we are going to overcome this difficult moment that nobody expected. By our part, we will make all efforts to meet your expectations and we are confident that together we will overcome this moment.

The Protocol and seal are valid until April 30, 2021 with all the commitments mentioned above and described in the internal protocol.
