Only 50 minutes from Lisbon, Foz House is located in the west coast of Portugal, which is also known as the silver coast, in the town Foz do Arelho near the Lagoa de Óbidos. It is a small town 8 km from the city Caldas da Rainha and 12 km from the medieval town Óbidos.
Foz House is a Charming House with a main villa and an apartment in the same property. With a quiet front garden and deck/patio on the back. Located in Foz do Arelho, is ideal for groups, up to 14 guests. It offers 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, an enclosed garden and WiFi. The lounge is perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. Curl up on the comfortable sofa and enjoy a good book in front of the fireplace or take advantage of the amenities on offer, including a TV with satellite channels, WiFi, radio, a CD and a DVD player.
The kitchen is extremely well-equipped for cooking up your favorite meals. Enjoy your feast around the dining table which seats 14 or outside, in
the garden, on the balcony or on the terrace enjoying views of the lake. The house has 5 comfortable bedrooms, 2 including a double bed, 1 including 2 single beds, 1 including 4 single beds and
an apartment that includes 1 double bed and living room with a sofa bed. Several bathrooms are available, one with a bathtub and a toilet and 2 with a shower and a toilet, 1 toillet.
The house features central heating, a washing machine, a dressing room, ironing equipment, a desk, cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner. Note that towels, bed linen and all the higienic products are included. Parking is available onsite..
A 10 min walk to the the beach or 2 minutes into the Foz village itself and you will find a few small supermarkets, a bank with cash machine, a taxi rank, pharmacy, and many bars and restaurants all of these to be enjoyed in a familiar and quiet environment.

Around the House
With Obidos Lagoon always in sight and only a few minutes walk away; the lagoon is a wonderful safe place for families and children to enjoy, with large expanses of sand and safe shallow bathing. The lagoon is also a magnificent natural habitat for all types of wildlife and is enjoyed by birdwatchers, fishermen, sailors, hikers and cyclists. At the mouth of the lagoon is the Atlantic Ocean. Large expanses of sandy beaches, beach cafes, restaurants and bars, all only few minutes walking.
Great food and excellent wine
The cuisine and the wine from the Silver Coast in Portugal is some of the finest that Europe has to offer, and forms an integral part of the region’s culture. The area has a rich heritage, and Guests love the narrow, picturesque streets of the towns and villages that dot the countryside or going to vinyard and taste the wine
The regional agriculture also adds an authentic touch, with numerous small farms, vineyards, windmills as well as fruit trees.
